Meet the heart and soul of Mobile Whinnies—passionate people making helping horses mobile.

Meet The Horses

Our miniature horses live at Hunters Haven Farm, a welcoming family-owned facility in Groveland, MA offering lessons, boarding, and fun events. Visit www.huntershavenfarm.com.

Coconut

Coconut: Coconut is a miniature horse standing at 36in. He is as white as the center of a coconut and just as cute! He is 26 years old and is a barn favorite, growing up around kids his entire life. Fun fact about Coconut – his best friend is a donkey!

Knox

Knox: Knox is 8 years old and as sweet and gentle as they come! He is a tad taller than Coconut and is our financial literacy mini. He was named after Fort Knox as he just loves to save his money! His best friend at the barn is a pony named Kalvin.

Gift

Gift is an 8 year old Icelandic mare owned privately by our CEO, Kathryn, and her family. She comes directly from Iceland and, fun fact, even has her own passport! Gift loves children and to be hugged! She was the inspiration behind the logo for Mobile Whinnies! Just look at that golden mane!

Meet The Humans

Kathryn Brodowski, MD, MPH

CEO & President
Kathryn is a public health physician with over a decade of nonprofit experience in hunger relief and medicine. Mobile Whinnies was inspired by my dad, whose mobility challenges made outings difficult—so we bring the joy of animals and nature to him and others. At the same time, we’re answering communities' calls for more early reading programs. Our mission is to support both health and literacy. Join us!
